Making a donation online to support your favorite charitable fund(s) is quick and easy through our PayPal account.  Click on the “Donate,” button below to get started.



How to make my donation online:

  1. Click on the “Donate” button.
  2. Enter in your donation amount and personal information. (You don’t have to have a PayPal account to donate and can use your credit card.)
  3. Click on “Review Donation and Continue.”
  4. If you are donating to a specific fund, click on the small box with the plus sign next to the “Add special instructions to the seller,” and enter in the name of the fund.  If you are donating to multiple funds, list the name of each fund with the designated amount next to it.

 

* All credit/debit card donations are subject to a 2.2% processing plus 30¢ transaction fee.

** Each donor who enters their own credit/debit card information directly online is entering his/her data into a secure web portal provided by PayPal.  The Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation assumes no liability for credit/debit card information provided by the donor to a third party.

Community foundation awards $103,170 in spring grants

ELLSWORTH, Kan.—The Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation awarded $103,170 during its spring grant cycle. Projects were funded through the community foundation’s Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund, the Kansas Health Foundation Fund and the Smoky Hills Community Fund. Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation accepting spring grant applications

The Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation is now accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications are due Friday, March 15, 2019. Over $117,000 is available through the following funds: Smoky Hills Community Fund – supports projects that improve quality of life for Ellsworth County residents.Smoky Hills Healthy Living Fund/Kansas Health Foundation Fund – granted to projects that promote healthy lifestyles, behaviors and environments.Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund – available for programs and projects that address education, health care, community social services and security, conservation and environment, arts and culture and community beautification.
