Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation accepting spring grant applications

The Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation is now accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications are due Friday, March 15, 2019. Over $117,000 is available through the following funds: Smoky Hills Community Fund – supports projects that improve quality of life for Ellsworth County residents.Smoky Hills Healthy Living Fund/Kansas Health Foundation Fund – granted to projects that promote healthy lifestyles, behaviors and environments.Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund – available for programs and projects that address education, health care, community social services and security, conservation and environment, arts and culture and community beautification. Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation scholarships available

The Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2019-2020 school year. This year, over $15,000 is available to Ellsworth County students through the foundation’s eight scholarship funds: Charles and Velma Westerman Scholarship, for graduating high school seniors or graduates of Ellsworth High School.
