Community foundation awards over $61,000 in fall grants ELLSWORTH, Kan.— During its fall grant cycle, the Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation awarded over $61,000 to 12 projects throughout Ellsworth County. The following organizations received funding: City of Kanopolis, $13,400 for repair and improvements to the Quonset.City of Ellsworth, $10,000 to purchase a shelter and complete the sidewalk connection to the splash park.
