Community foundation awards over $59,000 in spring grants ELLSWORTH, Kan.— During its spring grant cycle, the Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation awarded over $59,000 to 14 projects throughout Ellsworth County. Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation accepting grant applications

Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation accepting grant applications ELLSWORTH, Kan.—The Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation is now accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications are due Sunday, March 15, 2020. Last spring, the charitable foundation awarded the Wilson Community Foundation with funding to continue the multi-phase Wilson Czech Tourism Hub project. The first phase included the creation of an interactive tourism board and creation of seven four-foot Czech eggs to guide tourists through the historic district of Wilson.
