Wednesday evening, I was proud to be honored by the Ellsworth FFA Chapter with the Honorary Chapter Degree on behalf of my work with Smoky Hills Community Foundation.
This recognition means a great deal because of the partnership we have been able to build with Ellsworth FFA through the creation of the new Ellsworth FFA Endowment.
Helping establish this endowment has been one of those projects that reminds us why local philanthropy matters. This fund is not just about today. It is about creating a lasting resource for future FFA students, future agricultural leaders, and the future of Ellsworth County.
Ellsworth FFA continues to prove what can happen when young people are given strong leadership, high expectations, and real opportunities to grow. Their vision, work ethic, and pride in agriculture are something our entire community can be proud of!
Thank you to the Ellsworth FFA Chapter for this meaningful recognition. SHCF has truly enjoyed every second of working with you, and we are excited to see what this endowment helps make possible for generations to come.
