Today, Ellsworth County Medical Center celebrated the grand opening of its new Health and Wellness Center expansion.
In 2025, Smoky Hills Community Foundation announced a $100,000 Catalyst for Care Grant to help ignite fundraising for this important project. Today, that vision officially became reality.

The new facility strengthens ECMC’s ability to provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and a growing list of services. For a rural hospital, this investment is vital! It means better access, stronger care, and more opportunities for patients to receive high-quality services locally.
